• Science Fairs - Hosted by schools throught the Mojave Desert, sponsored by the MDAQMD & the Air & Waste Management Association (Mojave Desert Chapter and MEEC) - Judges select the most Outstanding Environmental Science Project, award recipients receive a $50 savings bond. • Pollution Prevention Week (P2) - The District's 12th annual Pollution Prevention Contest for 2007 has concluded. The winning posters along with the artists will be featured in the 2008 District calenders that will be made available in December. In December, call the District at (760) 245-1661 x6717 to request a copy or stop by and pick one up.  This years theme is "Taking Action For Cleaner Air." Winners were honored during a special awards ceremony held during Pollution Prevention Week on September 20, 2007.

Our combined mission is to link educators with high quality environmental education resouces to improve the environmental literacy of California's students.
